Upon arrival, the room wasn't clean, but the staff quickly addressed it when we raised the issue. It did take a while for the room to heat up, but once it did, it was cozy. The room could use some updates and care. The strong perfume smell in the sheets was a bit overpowering.

My stay at the hotel was truly disappointing. The rooms were filthy and dirty, and I couldn't even communicate with the staff to ask for clean towels since they didn't speak English. The smell of perfume soaked into the sheets made it unbearable. Everything was so unclean, with mold in the bathroom and a dirty sink and toilet.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, near the training academy and just a short ride share trip to downtown San Mateo. The staff were very nice and attentive, although a bit disinterested in travelers sometimes. The dining area was nothing special but got the job done. The rooms, although not the cleanest and seemingly DIY-installed, were passable for a short stay.
